DPDP Lead Implementer — Final Assessment
This is the course for the person who has to make compliance happen. You learn the Section → Rule → Control → Evidence method, run a 90-day programme for the fictional start-up ChaiCart, and build up a compliance file, using the templates in each module, that you can adapt at work.
Who it is for: Compliance managers, IT and security leads, in-house lawyers, company secretaries, consultants and founders who own DPDP readiness. The DPDP Awareness Essentials course is recommended first.
You will be able to:
- Scope the Act for any organisation, including group entities outside India.
- Set up governance: charter, steering committee, RACI, budget.
- Build a Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) and data maps.
- Engineer notices and consent, including Consent Manager readiness.
- Run rights, breach, retention and vendor processes that produce evidence.
- Map DPDP to ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 so existing controls are reused.
- Report readiness to a board with a dashboard and a 90-day plan.
Self-paced online course. On passing the final assessment you receive a certificate of completion. It records that you completed this course and passed its assessment; it is not a licence, an accredited certification or a qualification recognised by any government body.
Educational content, not legal advice. The law is stated as at 5 October 2026. ChaiCart and PaisaPath are fictional companies used for teaching. This course is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, MeitY or the Data Protection Board of India.
