Our purpose

Why bring auditors into one place

Organizations need auditors they can trust for the exact scope in front of them. Auditors need a fair way to be found. The network does both, and gives us a verified bench to engage for client work.

Buyers can’t tell who is qualified

A HIPAA risk analysis, a SOC 2 report and an ISO 27001 certificate need different people with different authority. Every profile shows its scope and which credentials we have checked.

Great auditors are hard to find

Independent auditors and small firms are easy to overlook next to large consultancies. A verified profile puts their skills in front of organizations that need them.

Healthcare work has its own rules

An auditor who needs access to protected health information is generally a business associate and signs a BAA first. Profiles show who is ready to.

Clients need more than one framework

A health-tech company may need HIPAA, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 in the same year. Profiles list every framework an auditor covers, not just HIPAA.

Who’s behind it

HIPAA Auditors, Radiatus and Xcodefix USA

A compliance practice, an engineering studio and a US partner, each bringing what it does every day.

How it works

From enrollment to engagement

No account to create and no fee before launch. A person reviews every profile before it goes live.

  1. Enroll

One form, no account needed: your frameworks, services, credentials, industries, languages, rates and availability.

  2. We verify

A person checks each credential against the issuer’s register. Only checked credentials carry a Verified badge.

  3. Go live

Approved profiles get a public page and a directory listing. The directory opens to organizations in December 2026.

  4. Get engaged

Organizations send requests through us. We match each one to auditors whose scope fits and introduce you.

What you get

Practical value on every profile

We looked at auditor registries, compliance-platform partner lists and freelance marketplaces, and built in what they leave out.

Verified credentials, with expiry dates

Checked against official registers and dated. Expired or unchecked credentials are labelled, never hidden behind a badge.

“Can issue” vs “readiness” made clear

Profiles show whether an auditor’s firm can formally issue a SOC 2 report, ISO certificate or PCI report — or provides readiness and internal audit work.

HIPAA-ready by design

BAA readiness, the HIPAA rules covered (Privacy, Security, Breach Notification) and OCR audit protocol experience, on every profile.

18 frameworks, not just HIPAA

SOC 2, ISO 27001 / 27701 / 42001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP, GDPR, India DPDP, CCPA and more.

Academy certificates, verified automatically

Complete HIPAA Auditors Academy courses and, if you opt in, they appear on your profile — checked against our own records.

Your contact details stay private

Requests come through us. No scraped emails, no cold calls, and you choose which engagements to take.

Independence you can show

Every auditor commits to disclose conflicts of interest and not to audit work they designed or implemented.

Built for independents and firms

Individual and firm profiles with team size, on-site coverage, languages, compliance platforms used and indicative rates.

FAQ

Questions auditors ask us

Who can enroll?

Independent auditors, assessors, consultants and audit firms who audit or assess organizations against HIPAA or any of the other 17 frameworks in the list — SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, NIST, CMMC, GDPR, India’s DPDP Act and more.

Is enrollment really free?

Yes. Auditors and firms who enroll before the directory launches in December 2026 pay nothing to enroll, and founding members’ listings stay free until 31 May 2027. After that the founding rate of USD 100 per year is locked for two years. Listings for auditors who join after launch start at USD 100 per year. Nothing is charged automatically: we confirm your plan with you before any invoice.

Does HIPAA Auditors take a commission?

No. Listings are a flat annual fee. We don’t take a commission on introductions, and we don’t pay or accept referral fees or kickbacks. When we subcontract you on our own client work, your rate is agreed with you in writing before the work starts.

Is a listing a HIPAA certification?

No. There is no official HIPAA auditor certification, and HHS does not endorse private “HIPAA certifications”. A listing shows what you audit and which credentials we have confirmed with their issuers — please don’t describe it as a certification.

Do I need HIPAA experience to join?

No. List the frameworks you actually audit. HIPAA experience helps with healthcare engagements, and every profile shows its full scope, so organizations outside healthcare can find you too.

How are credentials verified?

A person checks each credential with its issuer — through a public register or verification service where one exists (for example ISACA, ISC2, CPAverify, the PCI Security Standards Council or the Cyber AB), or directly with the issuing body — and records the date. Until then the credential is shown as pending verification.

Can a listing fee buy a badge or a higher ranking?

No. Verification cannot be bought, and a listing is not an endorsement: “Verified” means we confirmed that credential with its issuer on the date shown, nothing more.

Will my email address and phone number be public?

No. Your public profile shows your name, location, scope, services and credentials. Organizations send requests through HIPAA Auditors, and we introduce you when the scope fits.

Can I issue SOC 2 reports or ISO certificates through the network?

Only licensed CPA firms can issue SOC 2 reports, and ISO certificates are issued by certification bodies. If your firm holds that authority, add it under firm authorizations and we will verify it. Otherwise your profile shows readiness, gap and internal audit work for those frameworks — which is just as valuable when it is labelled correctly.

What does “being engaged” mean?

When an organization’s request matches your scope, we send you the details and ask you to confirm you have no conflict with that client — for example, readiness or implementation work you did for them. We share your contact details with the client only after you agree to the introduction. Fees, timelines, NDAs and — where protected health information is involved — a business associate agreement are agreed before any work starts.

How long do you keep my data?

While your profile is listed, and for 12 months after you withdraw or an application is declined; then it is deleted. You can withdraw any time from your private link, and ask us to delete your data sooner. The Auditor Network terms explain what we collect and why.

How do I update my profile later?

Once your profile is reviewed, we email you a private link to edit it. Changes go live straight away; new or changed credentials are re-checked before they show as verified.
