About Certificate Verification
Every certificate issued through the HIPAA Auditors learning portal carries a unique certificate ID. Employers, clients, and auditors can use the form above to confirm that a credential is genuine without needing an account or contacting us first. Verification is free and available to anyone holding the ID.
Where to find the certificate ID
The ID is printed on the certificate itself, normally in the lower corner, and follows the format CERT-YYYY-XXXXXX. It is also included in the confirmation email sent when the credential is issued, and appears on the learner's dashboard in the learning portal.
What the result tells you
A Valid result confirms the certificate was issued by HIPAA Auditors, names the holder and the course completed, and shows the issue and expiry dates. An Expired result means the credential was genuine but has passed its renewal date — HIPAA requires workforce training to be refreshed annually, so expired credentials should be renewed. Not Found means no certificate matches that ID; check for transcription errors before treating it as invalid.
Reporting a suspected forgery
If someone presents a HIPAA Auditors certificate that fails verification and you believe it has been altered, contact our team with the certificate ID and holder name. We investigate every report and confirm the outcome to you.
